Supply Needs Update

Warmth: socks, gloves, sleeping bags, blankets, tarps, tents, wood palettes, sleeping pads

Food: ice, 1lb jugs of propane, drinking water… and food

Sanitation: 2 large garbage cans, large garbage bags, T.P., laundry soap, dish soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste, body soap

For Sanitation, we could also use $ donations in order to empty our port-a-potty, and people to take out the trash and recycling.

Medical: OTC pain killers (i.e. aspirin), antibiotic, hydrogen peroxide or alcohol, medical tape, herbal remedies for stomach aches, pain, sinus, colds, flu

New OSC Supply Needs

Over a week in, and we’re getting a much better idea of what we need to run smooth operations at camp. Whether or not you are able to participate in our General Assemblies, bringing any of these items down to the Superior Courthouse on Water St. will be of tremendous support to our cause!

Medic supplies needed

Attention OSC: The medical working group needs donations of supplies.
If you have anything on this list and are willing to donate it, please
bring it to San Lorenzo Park on Thursday.

    Gauze pads (4x4s)
    medical tape (1″ or 2″)
    bandaids, multiple sizes, butterfly bandaids
    nitrile or latex gloves
    aspirin
    acetaminophen or ibuprofen
    alcohol wipes
    emergenC
    ace bandages
    hand sanitizer
    ice packs
    tweezers
    nail clipper
    neosporin
    antimicrobial neosporin alternative. Tea tree oil, etc.
    h20 bottles w/ sports top (many of these)
    emergency blankets
    Glucose (tube of frosting works well)
    Arnica oil/gel for sore or sprained muscles
    Something calming for emotional upset. chamomile tea, etc.
    Vitamin C
    Garlic bulbs
    antacid

Set-up/Clean-up Supplies Needed

Here is a list of needed supplies generated by the setup/clean-up working group.  If you can donate or lend any of these items, it would be greatly helpful!

  • Tarps
  • Tables
  • Trash bags
  • Trash receptacles (anything to put a trash bag in)
  • Liquid soap and empty plastic bottles (sanitation)
  • Generator (??)
  • Lights of all sorts – flashlights, headlamps, anything to illuminate the camp after dark

Food/Kitchen Supplies Needed for Occupation

We need any and all food, beverage, and kitchen supplies to keep folks lively and warm at the park.  Bring what you’ve got, it’ll be much appreciated!

Seeking Artists, Poets, Musicians

The Arts & Music working group is looking to get in touch with more musicians, artists (painters, etc.), and spoken word artists who would like perform at the occupation. Please contact OccupySCmusic@gmail.com or talk to the relevant people at the park.

A/V and Communication Equipment Needed

This just in from the Arts & Music working group… If you can contribute any of these things, please contact OccupySCmusic@gmail.com and/or bring them on down to San Lorenzo Park on the 6th.

  • A Generator (1000-2000 watts should be fine)
  • A small PA
  • A megaphone (either powered or old fashioned)
  • Gas to power the generator
  • Extension Cords
  • Rain gear (easy ups, canopies etc)
  • Two-way radios
