Things are getting organized in a big way. I love the Occupy Gaia concept and staying 24/7 is a great symbol of everyones right to a life when so many do not have one worth having. The cops response is an inditement of how society is responding; with repression instead of solutions.
Fixing the many problems humankind is experiencing is the main focus of Occupy just now; with an emphasis on economics. Gaia is also in trouble. A universal healthcare plan for Gaia would provide work for everyone, for decades, and is a powerful reason to call in the greed that is so destructive to people and the planet.
Hi Chuck! I’d love to connect with you on this idea, “A universal healthcare plan for Gaia would provide work for everyone, for decades, and is a powerful reason to call in the greed that is so destructive to people and the planet.”
I think it’s BRILLIANT! Can we start w/ a nationwide sweep of redeeming and then legalizing Industrial Hemp? I’m sure you know facilitating the redemption of this ONE PLANT would create jobs for everyone as well as assist in healing our Mother Earth
Let’s do this! I’m a senator at Cabrillo College. We just launched Occupy Cabrillo. I’d love to incorporate Occupy Gaia as one of our working groups on campus. Care to lead/co-lead this endeavor? We already have close to 150 participants on campus and that’s with only 1 weeks worth of work!
