Over a week in, and we’re getting a much better idea of what we need to run smooth operations at camp. Whether or not you are able to participate in our General Assemblies, bringing any of these items down to the Superior Courthouse on Water St. will be of tremendous support to our cause!

I think brooms, including the short width push kind, should be added to the list…and not just because Holloween is coming up!!
! The courthouse steps are looking gritty and need sweeping. Also, I think more DIY pack yer own trash attitudes are helpful…
So, I don’t want to be nitpicky, but I think it is worth acknowledging the corporate nature of our vocabularies when looking at this list. “Rubbermaid” containers (obviously referring to any plastic containers) and “Radio Flyer wagon” (obviously referring to any metal four wheeled pull wagon).
While I do not mean this to be a criticism (and I hope people are getting you guys what you need), I think it is worth being aware of the way that we use well known corporate brand names in our everyday speech, and perhaps seek to change that tendency.
Corporate influence is inside us, and it takes serious work to even become truly conscious of it.
But remember, I love you guys! I’m going to try to come down there on my next day off (I spend 50+ hours a week outside the city, working). Know that I am with you in spirit!
Is this the most current list of needs? If not, can it be updated for those of us planning on coming down for the Rally on Saturday who would like to bring supplies??
